What we collect

When you create a Ledgerler account, we collect your email address and the data you put into your workspace: entities, accounts, the transaction lines from the CSVs you import, match rules, close checklist tasks and sign-offs. This data is processed only to provide the reconciliation and close features of the service.

The free browser tool

The free reconciliation tool at /tools/bank-reconciliation runs entirely in your browser. The CSVs you upload or paste there are matched locally using JavaScript and are never sent to our servers or stored anywhere. Closing the tab clears the data.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent or share your financial data with third parties for marketing or any other purpose. Data in your workspace is visible only to you and, if you invite them, other members of your organization.

Payments

Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Ledgerler does not store your card number; Stripe handles payment details under its own privacy policy and PCI compliance obligations. We keep a record of your plan, billing status and invoices.

Cookies

Ledgerler uses a single authentication session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies on the marketing site or in the app.

Data retention and deletion

Your workspace data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, contact us at hello [at] ledgerler [dot] com and we will delete your workspace data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep billing records.

Contact

Questions about this policy or a request to access or delete your data can be sent to hello [at] ledgerler [dot] com.
